This is a picture of the scary elevator used to get to our closed stacks. When you request a book from a closed stacks listing, we ride the elevator to the basement or run down the stairs if the construction workers have the elevator high-jacked to retrieve your item(s). It's really not a problem, it's a challenge. So don't be afraid to ask for a closed stacks item. That's our job and we're glad to help. That's what's going down.
