What's All the Beeping About?

Have you been in the North Oak Branch recently and heard a lot of beeping? Or, wondered why the clerk was checking in your items twice? Well, North Oak is in the process of inventorying every item in the branch. You may find a clerk in any isle with a laptop wanding in every barcode. This will help us to know just what we have in our collection. We will also find items that may be on hold for a customers, or we may even find items that are no longer in our collection.

The beeping can be a little annoying at times, but most of the inventorying will be done by the end of January. So, please bear with us and pardon our beeping.
