Wedding Bells
April 25, 2012
Here we are, just over one month away from June, and I am willing to bet that at least a few of you have weddings on your mind. Perhaps, you've heard the song about June brides. I first heard it when I watched the movie Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. While the wedding I have on my mind is not in June, I still wish for the same happiness and joy for the bride who just happens to be my sister. Until her engagement, I never realized just how much goes into planning a wedding. For those of you who are planning future nuptials, I wish to pass on some helpful ways that the Library can help.
The Library has many resources available and the best part is that they are all free!
- Fashion and bridal magazines
These can be helpful for getting ideas on everything from dresses to reception decorations. - Books on decorating, cooking, etiquette, and even budgeting
These are great for those DIY brides. - Crafts and DIY databases
Also great for DIY brides. - Music CDs
We have copious amounts of CDs that are all available to be checked out. These can be wonderful for finding just the right music for your wedding.
If you can't find what you're looking for, you can always come to the front desk and ask one of the desk staff to help. We know how to work the ropes of the catalog and the tricks for finding just what you're looking for.
Happy Wedding planning!
