NUMBER 682

I am number 682 on the wait list for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo!  If you’ve been frustrated by the long wait for best sellers or currently popular authors, hope is on the horizon.  Beginning September 1st, 2010, any book with over one hundred holds will have a fourteen day check out period.  After three months, the item will revert back to the normal twenty eight day check out time.  Hopefully, your wait time will be much shorter.

THREE THINGS TO DO WHILE YOU’RE WAITING

1. Explore our new website.  While you are there, click on Books, Movies, Music.  We have a large selection of movies and cd’s available for checkout.
2. Sign up for the Riverside Book Club.  We meet the second Tuesday of each month at 10:00 A.M.  Our selection for September 14th is The Coffee Trader by David Liss. 
3. Review our Readers Advisory databases.  Great suggestions and sign ups for all types of reading.
