Vote for Books!

Are you are looking for an election that does not cause your blood pressure to rise? Bring your children to the Red Bridge Branch and participate in Vote for Books. There will not be a debate, but there are plenty of characters to choose from, book characters that is.

Presidential running mates include:

• Pete the Cat from the series by Eric Litwin with Big Nate from the series by Lincoln Peirce
• Origami Yoda, the subject of three books by Tom Angleberger with Scaredy Squirrel from the series by Mélanie Watt
• Fly Guy from Tedd Arnold’s easy reader series with Ladybug Girl from the series by David Soman
• Bad Kitty from the books by Nick Bruel with Babymouse from the graphic novel series by Jennifer L. Holm.

There’s even an opportunity for children to submit a write-in candidate for their favorite book character! Each ballot will be entered in a drawing to win a free book. Bring your children to the Library by closing time on Nov. 6th so they can cast their vote in the Vote for Books Presidential election!
