Vote for Books!

This year MCPL is teaming up with other area libraries to promote reading along with the presidential election. Kids can vote for their favorite book characters for President and Vice-President, and in the process, they will be added to a drawing for a free copy of Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes! by Eric Litwin and James Dean.

Children can come in and cast a ballot at any MCPL branch for the following pairs of candidates:

• Pete the Cat, President
• Big Nate, Vice-President

• Origami Yoda, President
• Scaredy Squirrel, Vice-President

• Fly Guy, President
• Ladybug Girl, Vice-President

• Bad Kitty, President
• Babymouse, Vice-President

Or, they can write-in their own favorite choices!

Only one vote per child, and ballots must be in by November 7th, 2012.
