We know that you like us, but now we want you to LIKE us!  Several of our branches have pages on Facebook, all chock-full of news and notes that you might want to know. For example, the Liberty Branch provides really interesting background for upcoming programs. South Independence has two very active pages; a main page for the branch and another one just for teens!  Excelsior Springs recently featured a great series of posts about the Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge, which is presenting programs throughout the system this summer. North Independence is getting ready to use their Facebook page to host simple trivia contests with a treat from Novella's bistro as the prize! These are just a few of the branches that have entertaining, and active pages. Not only can you find out what's going on, but you can check to see if your branch is closing for weather conditions, or find out what your favorite librarians are reading. And the best part? You can talk back!
