Top 10 Reasons to Visit the Library Over Winter Break

December 27, 2012

10. Keep those kiddos busy. School might be out, but the Library is still open. Come on by and pick out a few good books to take home.

9. Get a free eBook for that new eReader that Santa brought you.

8. Get online and post all your Christmas pictures on your Facebook page.

7. Take a break from family time to read your favorite magazine in peace and quiet.

6. Scope out the newspapers for the best after Christmas sales.

5. Make photocopies of Grandma's best holiday recipes for all your relatives to take home.

4. Check out that best seller that was on your Christmas list, but you didn't get. (at least you can still read it)

3. Pick up some party music for New Year's Eve.

2. Use a genealogy database to make sure you're actually related to all the people staying at your house.

And the number one reason to visit the Library during Winter Break is…

We’re free! You’ve treated your family to meals and movies. You’ve bought gifts for friends and neighbors. You have to pay your property taxes. You might as well take advantage of the Library’s free information and entertainment.
