June 17, 2010
If you are a fan of the legendary rock band, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, then don’t miss their upcoming show to promote their new album Mojo at the Sprint Center on Tuesday, July 13th.
For three decades, Tom Petty has been a fixture on the southern rock scene. Although his most enduring gig has been with the Heartbreakers, Petty got his start in the early 1970s with Mudcrutch in Gainesville, FL. In addition to several solo projects and a Mudcrutch reunion in 2008, Petty has also collaborated with the likes of Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Roy Orbison, and Jeff Lynne as a member of the Traveling Wilburys.
At the show, where Drive By Truckers are scheduled to open, fans will hope to hear some of the songs that have made the band famous such as American Girl, Refugee, Here Comes My Girl, and The Waiting.
And while you are waiting to see the show, enjoy Tom Petty albums from the catalog.
