Tim McGraw's KC Connection

February 08, 2011

The second season of Who Do You Think You Are? began this past week.  Which stars have a Kansas City connection?  Midwest Genealogy Center volunteer and professional researcher Kathleen Brandt of a3Genealogy did research for both the Tim McGraw and Ashley Judd episodes.

As a guest genealogist, Kathleen will be appearing in the second episode on February 11th with country singer and actor Tim McGraw; a segment of that show was filmed at the Kansas City Public Library’s Central Branch.  If you miss the shows, be sure to visit the Who Do You Think You Are? website for viewing of full episodes, starting with Season 1.

Genealogy programs like family tree genius software are specialized personal computer tools. They will manage additional than expected areas of a person’s existence. They are able to handle a person’s source citations, their free- type information, images and most significantly additional types of multi-media, though their primary intention would be to collect information. This position has to become carried out with care because the subsequent phase of activity of the genealogy system is dependent upon the accuracy of the information. They usually record facts about your location and time of birth and labor, your location of union or if completed on part of an ended person, his’ or her’ location and date of dying. They also record an individual’s romances from parents to couples to young children. Then the function from the software would be to arrange and put out these kinds of genealogy information.
