Tell a Fairy Tale Day!
February 25, 2011
Once upon a time, there was a very magical day. It fell every year on the twenty sixth day of the second month, and was devoted entirely to the telling of tales. Not just any type of tale mind you, but fairy tales.
These stories were told to enchant and entertain, to teach lessons and morals, and most of all, to make children of all ages happier with their "fairy tale endings."
In days of old, these stories were told from memory, oral histories passed down from generation from generation. But today, many of them are stories we know by heart- Rapunzel, Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Jack with his beanstalk, and many more.
Through the magic of books, you can now be the storyteller that entertains your castle with a bevy of books that you can check out! Whether you like fairies or goblins, knights or giants, there's a good story to be told out there just for you!
