Teens Wanted for Job Search Program!
September 24, 2010
On October 2, 2010 the Blue Ridge Branch is hosting Job Search & Interview Strategies for Teens. Help yourself find employment just by coming to the program!
If you are a teen who looked for work during the past summer, you already know it’s a jungle out there. You may be applying for jobs that used to be held by teens, but now you are competing against adults with more experience than you have. Give yourself a leg up by attending this program!
Karen Silins is a certified employment professional. She will talk about networking, job search sources, resumes, common interview mistakes, illegal job interview questions, how to dress for an interview, and the best questions for a candidate to ask.
The program starts at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 2, and just as if you were scheduled for an interview, don’t be late!
Please note that this program is for teens only.
