Teens at the Library Starts July 21

Here at the Kearney Branch, we've always had programs for teens. However, they were all over the calendar and the clock. And frankly, for some teens, our offerings didn't exactly fit their interests.

We're hoping to change all that beginning July 21 when we launch Teens at the Library. On the third Saturday of each month at 2:00 p.m., we'll offer programs exclusively for teens ages 13 to 18. Each month will offer something different; it could be anything from upcycled crafts or creative writing to games and films. Honestly, we're not exactly sure what it will all look like. We're hoping teens give us feedback and ideas to keep Teens at the Library interesting and relevant to them. So teens, send us some of your ideas.
