Teen Book Series That Happen to be Television Series

Many young adult books have been turned into television series.

One of the most popular book series and television series is the Vampire Diaries by l.J. Smith. The original four books were written over a decade ago, but they have spawned several spin off series in the last few years. The original four books were The Awakening, The Struggle, The Fury, and Dark Reunion. The show is now in its fourth season, and MCPL has the first three seasons in DVD. 
 
Another popular series is Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard. This series is being written concurrent with the show. This show is in its third season, and MCPL has the first two seasons on DVD. The show and the books are different from each other. The first three books are Pretty Little Liars, Flawless, and Perfect. 
 
Finally, Gossip Girl just finished it sixth and final season on television. This series was based on the books written by Cecily Von Ziegesar. The first four books of the series are Gossip Girl, You Know You Love Me, All I Want is Everything, and Because I am Worth it. MCPL has all six seasons in its collection.
