Tall, Bark, and Handsome: National Dog Week

Man's best friend. Lassie. Fire hydrants. All those phrases inspire the image of a fuzzy, four-legged creature we share our lives with, our dogs! My dog, Truman, captured my heart nine years ago when he was just a pup, and I couldn't imagine life without him. We sing together, play together, and take long walks. If I was in search of the perfect companion, there he is rolled into one package - tall(ish), dark, likes long walks on the beach, candlelight suppers (of Alpo), athletic. I couldn't ask for more.

During National Dog Week, take the time to do something nice with your pooch. If you don't have one, think about adopting a shelter dog from M'Shoogy's Animal Rescue or a similar group. You'll have a friend for life!
