Take Your Child to the Library Day

February 2nd is usually all about groundhogs, and while they are cute little creatures who may or may not see their shadows, they aren’t the only reason to celebrate this Saturday. The first Saturday in February is also Take Your Child to the Library Day!

So, bring your kids to the Library and enjoy what we have to offer for the little ones. Pick a table and read a couple books while you’re here, or grab a coloring sheet to decorate while everyone gets the book they want. Have a seat at the kids’ computer and play a game. We have an entire section just for children, and we want you to use it!

And don’t forget that kids are welcome at the Library any day, not just Saturday. Please take a storytime schedule with you and come back any time. We love seeing our youngest customers!
