Super Bowl Commercials

What a great game that was! The Super Bowl trophy is headed back to Green Bay with the Packers, but the conversation I hear the most is about the commercials. Even though I have a rudimentary understanding of the rules of football, I can still participate in the moment because of the advertisements! I read a romance novel in between commercials. When I was occassionally inspired to watch the game, I asked a million questions on this call or that play, driving my husband to distraction. After a while, it was better to zone out until the commercials came on. This year’s ads did not disappoint, from a miniature Darth Vader to Dorito’s power to resurrect grandpa. You don’t have to be a sports whiz to appreciate the Super Bowl and its ability to bring people in one nation together.
