Summertime Blahs

Do you and your kids have the summertime blahs? Is everyone tired of summer vacation? Are the kids begging to go back to school? Well, that may be stretching it a little, but this does seem to be the time of year that we start looking forward to summer just being over.

In addition to MCPL's Summer Reading Program, there are other programs available in the community and online that you may want to check out. These can be done in conjunction with each other, so your children have even more reason to get out a book and read.

If the kids are reading, you know what that means. They are sharpening important skills, and Mom and Dad are getting some peace and quiet.
