Summer is Upon Us
June 07, 2010
Just as our customers use the foliage and vegetation as a barometer to the seasons, we gauge the seasons thru library activities. Fall means getting ready to promote our resources that would be useful to the students and getting into the routine of storytime. Winter is marked by craft programs and Read Aloud Family Time (RAFT). The highlight of spring is income tax forms. Summer inspires great creativity among the staff and preparations begin months in advance for this season.
Our banner proclaims, “Make a Splash, Read!” May your summer days of splashing be filled with lots of opportunities to get wet with sunny skies over head.
