Summer Reading Program - One World, Many Stories @ Your Library

Summer Reading is here again! Starting May 1st, sign up at online or visit your local branch to begin logging. You can receive prizes at the official start of the Summer Reading Program beginning May 23. This summer, you’ll travel around the world without having to leave the library!

Listeners (ages 0-6):
• Earn prizes for every 24 books you read.
• Redeem up to three reading logs.
• On the third log, you can choose a book or prize!

Readers (ages 6-11):
• Earn prizes for every 360 minutes you read.
• Redeem up to three reading logs.
• On the third log, you can choose a book or prize!

Teens (ages 12-18):
• Earn one free book for every 360 minutes you read.
• Redeem up to three reading logs.
• On the third log, you can choose a book or prize!

Charlie Bone Read-Alikes

Hi krey! If you're looking for some good read-alikes to Charlie Bone, check out ---

*The Red Pyramid: The Kane Chronicles (2010): This is a new series by Rick Riordan, author of the popular Percy Jackson and the Olympians series.

*The Last Apprentice (2005): Joseph Delaney begins his Last Apprentice series with The Last Apprentice: Revenge of the Witch. There are lots of titles in this series, which should keep you busy reading all summer long!

*Mister Monday (2003): Arthur Penhaligon is supposed to die at a young age, but is saved by a key. He must find out the truth about the key and keep Mister Monday from getting it in this Garth Nix series Keys to the Kingdom.
