Summer Reading - It's Not Just For Kids

When some people think about the library, they imagine a place that only houses old, dusty, out of print titles.  Others may assume that the library's sole purpose is to provide resources for children.  That's definitely not the case at MCPL!  In addition to providing up-to-date books, movies, music, and more for all ages, each of our 29 branches also carries the latest and greatest titles available. 

We're happy to have a collection of popular books written by your favorite authors.  Here at the Colbern Road Branch, we've even reserved a special place for them: the "Most Requested Authors" display!

In this hot spot, you'll find books by authors such as Janet Evanovich, Patricia Cornwell, James Patterson, Nora Roberts, and more!  We also keep a list of current New York Times Bestsellers available for you to peruse.  These books are in high demand.  Sometimes they just fly off our display.  If you can't find the title you want, let one of our friendly staff members show you how to reserve it!

So, if you're looking for some fun summer reading, make sure you stop by this display the next time you're at the Colbern Road Branch.  You're sure to find an old favorite - but you might also discover something exciting and new!
