Summer Fun at the Library

Summer is in full swing at the Raytown Branch. The Summer Reading Program is up and running. There are programs for all ages, birth through teens. Children have an opportunity to win 3 free books and other prizes. You have until July 31st to participate. It is easy to sign up online or at the Library.
We are offering a number of family programs:
- June 19th is MacGyver Magic at 2:00 p.m.
- June 26th the Dome Theater returns with shows from 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
- On June 28th is Fancy Nancy and the Posh Puppy at 2:00 p.m.
- July 12th offers Didgeridoo Down Under at 2:30 p.m.
- July 17th is Dream Big with Mad Science After Dark at 2:00 p.m.
- July 24th at 2:00p.m. Exotic Animals R Us.
- July 31st at 2:00 p.m. Jay and Leslie: Lucky Stars will make an appearance.
- August 2nd at 2:00 p.m. is the American Girl Tea.
Of course, there are also our regular Baby Storytime on Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. and Family Storytimes on Tuesdays at 11:00 a.m. and Fridays at 10:00 a.m. Just a reminder, there will be no storytimes in August.
There are also some special teen programs:
- June 21st at 6:30 p.m. Self Defense for Teens.
- July 19th at 6:30 p.m. Drawing for Beginners for Teens.
