Strangers on a Train
July 26, 2010
The Weston Branch is going to try something new. The next R.E.A.D. Society (Read Eat and Discuss), a.k.a. Book Club is reading Strangers on a Train by Patricia Highsmith, a classic thriller from 1950. Probably more famous than the book is the movie of the same name, directed by Alfred Hitchcock. So we're going to have a movie night, complete with popcorn and jujubes to watch that movie. It will be on Monday, Aug 2nd at 6:30 p.m. After the movie, we will compare and discuss both the book and the movie. So come on out for a free movie, popcorn, jujubes and fun. Come by the library to pick up the book (we have plenty to share), sign up for the movie (to make sure we have enough popcorn), or call to have your name added to our list.
