Storytime and Summer Programs
June 11, 2013
Looking for something fun and educational for the kids to do? Come to storytime and our summer programs!
MCPL has storytimes for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. We also have a variety of exciting, hands-on and educational programs during the day. My son is 17 months old and has been doing Baby Storytime at the Lee's Summit Branch since he was 9 months old. He has enjoyed interacting with other babies, singing songs, listening to books, and playing with toys. We also try to pick up a few new books and movies while we are there.
We have already participated in some of the programs that are geared toward all ages. We’ve been to a magic show, a western song and dance show, and most recently, a show about predatory birds. I am looking forward to the Stable T. Farms Petting Zoo coming up June 13th at 2:00 p.m. at the Blue Springs South Branch.
So, bring your babies and all the kids to storytimes and programs this summer at MCPL.
