Storytelling Fun
March 10, 2011
The library had a visit from Jo Ho, the Storyteller, this afternoon. She brought stories, musical instruments, and interactive activities that about a dozen children and adults enjoyed. We particularly enjoyed the song about what kinds of animals lived in various kinds of homes like nests and burrows.
Jo Ho has been bringing stories to audiences for over 22 years. She has been across the country presenting at schools, libraries, museums, and festivals as far away as Honolulu.
Programs like this are in addition to our regular storytime (on Tuesday at 10 a.m.). You can find out about these programs on our website, or in the publication, Beyond the Books, available at any library branch. In the library, we also have new electronic signage listing programs in the area and library news in general.
Check out the news on the next programs happening at your library branch. We hope to see you here soon enjoying the added value of your library.
