Stop Bullying Before It Starts
September 08, 2011
Bullying is an increasing problem popping up in many settings - schools, highways, business, and more. Facing these confusing conflicts often challenges our fears and our skills to the core. But therein also lie special opportunities for growth and connection, says David Strabala and Kathy Meinking.
These two presenters will bring their passion and humor for life together is a "1-2 Punch" approach: principles with practicality. Strabala, a licensed clinical social worker and storyteller works with youth and families, and teaches conflict skills classes. Meinking is a life coach, abuse survivor, and mother of two sons who have grown together in confidence from dealing with bullying.
Join us for this program on Saturday, September 17th at 2:30 p.m. and have fun and learn as a family or individual. The session will last 90 minutes, including break-out groups for youth and adults. You can register online, or call us at the branch at 630-6721.
