I'm getting excited about the opening of J.J. Abrams' Star Trek Into Darkness, the sequel to his reimagining of Gene Roddenberry's universe a few years ago.

I've been watching the original series again, and I just finished Mark Clark's Star Trek FAQ: Everything Left To Know About The First Voyages Of The Starship Enterprise. It's a great resource for anybody interested in the creation and execution of the original series, which aired on NBC from 1966-1969. It's full of behind the scenes trivia and anecdotes, many of which I had never heard before. So if you're into Star Trek, I highly recommend this informative book.
