Finally, spring is here. It’s that time of the year; spring cleaning is like a tradition. It’s time to open the windows and let the fresh air come in. Time to get rid of the clutter, and reorganize your home for spring and summer.
It seems like there’s so much to do all of a sudden after being dormant for most of the winter. I usually divide my spring cleaning projects into sections over several days. Listing all of your spring cleaning chores can look overwhelming at first. I usually have a check-list for each room of the house. That helps me to check off each of the task.
The Mid-Continent Public Library has several books on organizing and decluttering your home. One of the books is called House Works by Cynthia Townley Ewer. You can also check out Organize It by Mervyn Kaufman. Visit our website catalog for more helpful hints.
