Sing Me to Sleep
November 10, 2010
Beth is an awkward teenager and doesn't fit in, so she gets picked on at school. She is in a choir group, and is selected for a solo part. They go to Switzerland, and that is where she meets Derek. He is cute, sweet, and all the girls want him, but he only wants Beth. He likes her voice so much; he listens to her song while going to sleep. She sings him to sleep (sweet!). She can't believe her luck, Right? The thing is, he has a secret. There is something going on with him, and he won't tell her. He is evasive and to top it off, he won't introduce her to his parents. Also, her best friend Scott, who has always been there for her and everything she has been through, he likes her too. So, she has a difficult choice to make.
Sing Me to Sleep is one of my favorite books. Angela Morrison did an awesome job with this book. One thing though, keep a box of tissues handy cause it's a tear jerker.
