She "Owned the Night" and Won a Netbook!

This year’s Summer Reading Program was a ravishing success! Thousands of local teens participated, writing just under 30, 000 book reviews. How amazing is that?! This summer was a flurry of library bucks and prizes, but one special Blue Springs North teen walked away with an extra special prize.

Lyndi Weisberg won one of the five netbooks that MCPL gave away for Summer Reading. Each review a teen wrote was an entry into the drawing for the netbooks, and Lyndi was a winner! But don’t be disappointed…if you have still have library bucks, you can use them to pay for fines, copies, prints, and replacement cards through December 31, 2012.
