The Search
August 31, 2010
Searching for a new book to read? Check out Nora Roberts's newest book, The Search. Ms Roberts has done it again. This latest book is not a trilogy, as some of her others. She has combined her love of dogs with a little romance, and lots of suspense.
The story is about the training of search and rescue dogs and their use in tracking down lost children and hikers. In this book, a serial killer uses red silk scarves as calling card to his murders.
I felt that this novel was one of her better attempts, and thoroughly enjoyed it. John Charles of Booklist said, "Roberts packs the plot with romance, suspense, clever dialogue, and fascinating details about search and rescue dogs." Publishers Weekly's March 22, 2010 edition, stated the setting and supporting characters – with paws and without – provide a vivid back drop.
If you are a Nora Roberts fan you already know that MCPL has good selection of her books. You will want to check this one out, or place a hold on it soon.
