Scouting Books That Merit a Look

It’s not just school that starts again at this time of year. Loads of activities are also underway, including Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. The library has all kinds of scouting resources for boys, girls, and adult leaders. Some of the books include:

• The Scoutmaster Minute: Your Handbook for Inspiring Moments by Ron Wendel.
• Junior Girl Scout Leader Guide Book by Rosemarie Cryan ... et al.
• The Merit Badge Series. This series of small books for the Boy Scouts has separate issues that explain how to get merit badges for activities such as backpacking, sculpture, family time, and cinematography.
• Boy Scouts of America Today: a Photographic Celebration of 21st Century Scouting by Robert Birkby.
