Scaredy Squirrel at the Library

One of my favorite characters from a children’s book is Scaredy Squirrel. Scaredy is an overly cautious squirrel who finds out that things are not as bad as he imagined out in the world. I read the first book to last year’s West Platte Elementary class, and it was a big hit. This year’s kindergarten classes will hear the second book, Scaredy Squirrel Makes a Friend. This is one of those series that adults will enjoy as much as the kids.
