Save Money wtih Do-it-yourself Projects
June 10, 2011
Summer is here, and it’s time to roll up your sleeves and tackle those long waited projects. While not every project is suitable for do-it-yourself (some of them do require experienced professionals), sometimes DIY really is easy and can amount to significant savings.
There’s several books you can check out from the Mid-Continent Public library system. One is called Save energy save money!: 201 Do-it-yourself Projects, Tips, and Ideas by the Reader’s Digest Association. There's also another book called The Complete Photo Guide to Home Improvement by the Black and Decker Corporation.
The Mid-Continent Public library has an incredible Research database on DIY projects. The Home Improvement Reference Center contains full text reference works and magazine articles on the topics of home maintenance, remodeling, electrical work, plumbing, wood projects, outdoor improvements, decorating, and gardening.
Happy remodeling!
