Santa is Coming to Riverside!

November 27, 2012

This is my favorite time of year! I love the holiday decorations, the gift-giving, and the planning of surprises for the entire family. I could watch How the Grinch Stole Christmas at least once a week between now and December 25. In my family, we make it an occasion to watch It’s a Wonderful Life.

I’m already driving my husband nuts with my collection of Christmas CDs. I have made a giant leap into the 21st century by creating my own holiday channel on Pandora. I’m also one of those crazy people who brave the cold and the crowds on Black Friday.

Well, we are kicking off the holiday season at the Riverside Branch with a visit from Santa on Saturday, December 1 at 10:00 a.m. Santa will join us with his guitar, and we’ll all have a chance to join him singing your favorite holiday carols. Parents, please bring your camera since all children will have a chance to sit on Santa’s lap!

I guess its OK to comment on my own blog, but the Grinch was on TV tonight! Now I know it's really Christmas! Of course I DVR'd it so I can watch it over and over again!! - Cheryl
