If you're looking for your first job or a different career and you've never written a resume before, it can be quite overwhelming.
The Library has a very useful database called Career Transitions. It has a basic blank resume form. All you have to do is fill in the blanks with your information and it formats it into a resume. It walks you through the process, step-by-step, and explains each part and why you might want it in your resume. If you want a specific kind of resume, there are examples for you to view. The database answers basic questions like, "How to post a resume online?," "How to write an effective cover letter?," and many other answers to questions you may not have even thought of yet. There are also videos to watch to help you through the process.
