So, you know the library has books. And, you may have heard that we have movies too. But, did you know that we have newspapers? You can check them out just like books!

Here at Camden Point we have The Kansas City Star, USA Today, the St. Joseph News-Press, The Weston Chronicle, The Platte County Citizen, and The Landmark. Other branches have different newspapers.

The check-out process for newspapers is almost the same as magazines. The current issue must stay on the shelf, but you can check out the back issues. With magazines, you may have to wait a month, but you can take yesterday’s newspaper home.

In this tight economy, we can’t always afford one paper, much less two or three. So, don’t miss out! Come by and check out the newspapers at the library!
