Random Acts of Kindness
August 06, 2012
The extreme heat has everyone dealing with stress, discomfort, heavy losses in crops and in livestock for farmers, drought across the nation, and much higher prices at the grocery and feed store. Jobs are scarce, raises are even scarcer. There’s not much in the way of security in the workplace. The economy is struggling once again. The future—many want to just be able to handle today.
So, seems to me, this is the perfect time for those random acts of kindness to start popping up: consideration, a smile from the heart, a helping hand. Just because we can! It’s not about us feeling good; it’s about helping others to feel better. Life is not always about working hard just to succeed—sometimes, it’s about reaching out to others to help them.
Wishing you all a fine day—
