It’s almost time for RAFT! RAFT stands for Read Aloud Family Time, and the purpose of RAFT is to encourage reading as a family. This program is offered to families of all shapes and sizes. Read two multi-chapter books checked out from the library between January 3, 2012 and March 3, 2012, and your family will earn a complimentary copy of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Road Dahl. Reading aloud together as a family is encouraged.

Next, get your golden ticket entry into the drawing for Tim Burton’s 2005 version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory featuring Johnny Depp. Continue to read books and receive a drawing entry after each group of two books read as a family.
