Put Down that Remote!

March 12, 2012

Is the power out? Did you forget to set the DVR to record your favorite show, or were you out late and missed it? Have no fear- the library is here!

Aside from carrying many TV series on DVD, we also provide for those times that you just need an extra fix of your fave TV series. Like following Castle? Then perhaps, you'd like to read a book "written" by Richard Castle! Same goes for River Monsters, which has a book penned by Jeremy Wade himself about his adventures.

Can't wait for season 3 of Pretty Little Liars? Then perhaps, reading the books the show was based on might tide you over! Whether it's Game of Thrones, Gossip Girl, Dexter, or True Blood, you can find lots of books that were the starting point for their shows.

And for those of you who'd just like to read a book that came after the show, no worries! We have novels that continue the adventures of popular shows like Doctor Who, Supernatural, Psych, Monk and many more!

Last, but not least, you can always find something at least similar to what you're watching. For example, those who enjoy the fairytale retellings and twists of Once Upon a Time and Grimm, might want to check out the Once Upon a Time novel series, which features various retellings of popular tales.

So whether you're stuck in the dark or just need something to hold you over until the new season arrives, check out the library!

Unless something changed, True Blood is only available through interlibrary loan. Just FYI :)

That might be true for the TV

That might be true for the TV series itself, but the books it is based on are available here!
