That combination of four letters can strike fear into anyone’s heart these days, especially since it drags with it a whole bunch of hard questions. Who should I ask? What should I wear? Will she say yes? These are just a few of the conundrums we find ourselves in at this time of the year.
But reset assured, there is hope yet, friends!
While I’m no prom expert, I can tell you a cute and romantic askance for a lady’s hand to prom is no light matter. It has to count, and it has to be tailored to her in some way.
- First step - Ask someone out to prom. Have a rose. Everyone likes roses. Yes, even boys.
- Step two - Find a really cute way and message to get the question across.
- Step three - Set up the situation for it all to pan out, and then play the waiting game. Read a few chapters in your favorite book to calm the nerves.
Now, take the library for instance, no one would ever ask anyone out to prom in the library, right? Wrong!
Sit and listen friends. Here is one example: Boy wants to ask girl to prom and knows she really likes books. She goes to the library regularly.
What does boy do? Boy takes her favorite book and wraps the cover with paper of her favorite color. The new title he writes on the new cover is simple yet elegant, "Prom?", and the author is of course “Boy” (a.k.a. the boy’s name in real life). Boy puts rose in book at her favorite part to be a cute book mark. Mind you, this is a real rose, so it can’t be pressed closed completely unless you’re giving this to someone who loves crinkled roses, then go for it. He says something cute, maybe something like, "I found this book, and thought of you" and he hands it to her. Girl says, "Yes!" The story ends happily or at least until prom is over, but that’s for another day.
Even in the Library, a good idea, which libraries are full of, and a little romance goes a long way.
