Programs at the Library
August 28, 2010
Where can you find computer classes, dogs in action, turkey finger painting, genealogy programs, live advice on finances, and more? Your library.
The Mid-Continent Public Library has a wide and diverse bunch of programs to offer you this fall. Just click on the Events tab and browse through the line up. If you want to narrow the programs list down to a certain library branch, click on that branch's name at the left of your browser.
This fall, the Excelsior Springs branch will be offering programs to help you learn, as well as to help you have fun. Educational programs will include classes on how to use computers and the Internet (with as little technical jargon as possible), financial advice presentations, genealogy and more. There will also be fun programs for the family, such as turkey finger painting or the chance to make a sweet treat for the holidays. KMBC's Bryan Busby and the KC Wolf will also be visiting the library.
