This week Mid-Continent Public Library joined the Platte County Community Center in celebrating the groundbreaking of the expansion of the YMCA in Platte City.  This event marks the beginning of several months of work that will eventually result in a bigger, better equipped YMCA building, as well as an expanded parking lot that will be shared between the YMCA and the Platte City Branch.

During this time, visitors to the Platte City Branch may notice extra noise or traffic caused by the construction next door. We would like to apologize in advance for any inconvenience. These changes will result in great new YMCA facility for Platte City residents and improve the relationship between MCPL and the community!
