The Pink Tradition Continues
September 27, 2013
Five years in the making and still going strong. During the month of October, Mid-Continent Public Library hosts the Pink Party, a library fair that takes place at branches around Kansas City to promote breast cancer awareness. At our Pink Parties, we bring out vendors and guest speakers from the community to share information and resources on breast cancer to those who need it.
Every guest also receives a chair massage, a free bag of goodies, and a chance to win great prizes! You will also have an opportunity to hear new information on breast cancer research, the prevention of it, and how to care for those who have it. If you have been touched by cancer in any way, we would love for you to join us at a Pink Party.
Saturday, October 5th at 2 p.m. – Blue Ridge Branch
Thursday, October 10th at 6:30 p.m. – Blue Springs North Branch
Thursday, October 17th at 7 p.m. – North Independence Branch
Saturday, October 26th at 2 p.m. – Parkville Branch
Show your support for breast cancer! Please join us at one of our Pink Parties.
