Pink Party With Katie Horner

Break out the Pink...It’s party time at the Blue Springs North branch. October 16th will be our 2nd annual Pink Party in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Pink Party will kick off at 2 p.m., and will feature a variety of fun learning experiences. We will have informational material from the Susan G. Komen Organization, Cancer Action, St. Mary’s Mammography Department, and Centerpoint Medical Center's Bone Density testing. The Pink Party is a great opportunity to learn about the awareness of the impact of breast cancer, history of treatment, pain management, care-giving, current medical findings, and the importance of early detection through self-examination and yearly mammograms.
