Watching the news never really worried me until I moved to Kansas City. Now, I should tell you that we sure have our share of heinous events going on Back East, but news broadcasts here seem to relish in the macabre. Maybe, it’s just me.

But if you get worried by the news that you read or see on TV, you may want to join us for a program at the Boardwalk Branch that instructs participants in how to protect their homes and themselves. The program takes place on Tuesday January 24th at 2 p.m. You can register online or by calling the branch.
