Pawn Stars
October 26, 2010
I admit I am a Pawn Stars junkie. For those who don't know what that could possibly be, I will explain. Pawn Stars is a television show on the History Channel featuring the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop opened in 1988 by "Old Man" Harrison in Las Vegas, NV. It runs on Monday nights, but sometimes we get blessed with marathons that run through the week. People bring in the strangest things to either sell or pawn. My goal is to go to Las Vegas and find this place. Forget "The Strip", baby I want to see this pawn shop. Sometimes, my family and I watch this and try to think of stuff we could bring to them. Maybe, you have an interest in the old, the decrepit, the bizarre, or the just plain weird. Even if you don't watch Pawn Stars, you might want to check out our books about collecting located in the non-fiction section of 338.7, or price guides located between 737 - 744.1. We also have a great selection of magazines, like the one here in Weston, Antiques Road Show. You might have that one thing that still hasn't appeared on Pawn Stars.
