Parachute Fun

We are having so much fun at Family Storytime that I’m surprised it’s not illegal! Our giant parachute is the cause of all this fun. Sometimes, we bounce giant beach balls in it. We have made "popcorn" (pom-poms). We played "socky ball" one week. They bounce really well!
 
Socky balls are great for any indoor play. Yes, we need to spare the lamps and vases! Just take a pair of children’s socks-roll into a ball-and voila-you have a socky ball! Sometimes, we use foam balls that are great at hitting the ceiling! We are also learning to go right and left in a circle while holding on to the parachute.
 
So, if you’re not coming yet, be sure to bring your children on Tuesdays at 11:00 a.m. or Fridays at 10:00 a.m. for a fabulous, fun-filled Family Storytime!
 
Note: There will be NO STORYTIME during the month of August.
