Out Of This World Programs Designed With Children In Mind
September 01, 2011
Summer break is over, and children are heading back to school. Now is the time to shift gears, and move into your fall schedule.
If you have younger children at home and are looking for quality programs, we offer a wide variety here at North Oak. Each Thursday and Friday morning at 10:30 a.m. (beginning September 8 and 9), children will gather in our Children's area to join in our weekly storytime. Our storytime is for all ages, and the great thing is that you can just drop in. Registration is not required for these regular weekly storytimes.
If you have a child aged 18 to 36 months, we offer a specialized program called Toddler Time. This is a weekly program held on Monday or Tuesday mornings at 10:00. a.m. This program requires that each child has a lap to sit in. Registration for Toddler Time is required, and please note that space is limited.
For your school-aged children, we offer a monthly program called Homeschoolers @ the Library. This program was formerly called Discovery Club, and each month offers a different topic. The first program in this fall's session will be held Wednesday, September 7th at 7:00 p.m. Registration is requested for this program.
Join us here at North Oak as we kick off a new fall season of programs for children!
