Ongoing Allergies?... Sometimes You Just Have To Keep On Going!
October 25, 2012
Have you been dealing with allergies? Sinus issues? Headaches? Flu like symptoms?
I know I have been miserable for way too long. First, it was a headache. Then, it was another headache. Then, it was a sore throat. Then, it was bronchitis and major chest pains. What in the world? Recently, I have been to so many different doctors searching for direction and answers. What is all of this junk that I’m dealing with? Every doctor has their own opinion, and I am left hopeless and somewhat depressed. They all mean well for sure, but their conflicting opinions leave me confused. All I know is, I don’t want to feel this way any longer.
I took my walk this morning and ran across a man I pass every morning. He stopped me and said, "Haven’t seen much of you lately." I responded that I had been dealing with all sorts of sinus junk. His reply was brilliant! "I know the feeling," he said, "Sometimes you have to just cough it up, and spit it out, and keep on going!" Point taken!
If you having some of these issues, please know that the Library is here to help you sort it all out. We may not be the library doctors, be we certainly can place some very valuable material into your hands and help you to start feeling better soon. I started keeping a food journal, an exercise journal, and just journaling about my wellbeing altogether. I started keeping track of the different medications and the side effects. Then, I turned to the MCPL catalog for some help...
